Four species of fleas, Hystrichopsylla microti, stenoponia sidimi, ctenophthalmus congenereoides congeneroides and Peromyscopsylla hamifer cuneata, were recovered from Clethrionomys rufocanus. Six species, Stenoponia sidimi, Neopsylla bidentatiformis, Rhadinopsylla concava, R. insolita, Ctenophthalmus congeneroides congeneroides and Peromyscopsylla hamifer cuneata, were recovered from Microtus fortis. C.c. congeneroides represented more than 90% of the total fleas recovered from each host species and some host preference for M. fortis may be exhibited by this flea. Percentage of infested individuals were almost identical (55%) for the two vole species.
